Supporting #Red4Research day

ARC East Midlands researchers will be wearing red for the day to back a national campaign supporting COVID-19 research.

Team members are getting behind #Red4Research Day taking place on Friday, June 18, to support and appreciate all those participating, undertaking and supporting research during the pandemic.

The concept is simple. Wear something red, then print or make a #Red4Research placard, take a photo and post it on social media with the #Red4Research hashtag.

Research could not happen without volunteers, participants and research teams. People make research happen. Over the last year, we have all gained more appreciation for those involved in COVID-19 research across the globe.

The research community, in collaboration with the health and care sectors and voluntary organisations, have achieved a phenomenal amount since the pandemic began.

You can learn more about the COVID-19 response from the National Institute for Health Research and how you can get involved in a range of studies, by visiting the Be Part of Research website.
